OmarM Abuhilal Annexation Area 5 K. Hiring Plan It is anticipated that this annexation will not result in the elimination of jobs for employees of any other governmental entities. The German Township Trustee has been notified of this Annexation. SECTION III. MUNICIPAL SERVICES A. Public Works Sewer - The sanitary sewer mains are currently available on Portage Avenue south of the site at the Teachers Credit Union site. The developer(s) will be responsible for its extension. No additional public expenditures will be needed to extend existing sewer main facilities. Water - There is currently a 12" water main on the west side of Portage Road with more than adequate service capacity. No additional public expenditures will be needed to extend existing water main facilities. Street Lighting - Street lighting will be required on any public rights -of -way within a subdivision. Additional revenue to the General Fund from this Annexation Area will be more than sufficient to pay for the street light operations. Waivers of Annexation - No waivers of the right to remonstrate against an annexation are in effect for this area. Streets - The maintenance of the Portage right -of -way will become the responsibility of the City. If required as a result of the ultimate development of the Annexation Area, construction of new public streets will be the responsibility of the developer. Sweeping and snow removal, along with regular maintenance, will be paid by the additional gas tax reimbursement to the Motor Vehicle Highway Fund due to the increase in mileage to the roadway inventory. Because only sweeping and snow plowing will be required over the initial five -year period, the cost to maintain this roadway has been reduced by one - third. Drainage Plan - None required at this time.
