Tax Abatement <br />(1) continued... <br />Ms. Jones commented that Memorial has <br />been a supporter of the west side with the <br />health clinic it is starting across from LaSalle <br />Square. <br />Ms. Ruiz said they do expect the new <br />building to be fully leased quickly, because <br />of its location near the airport and the fact <br />that CB Richard Ellis has had some recent <br />inquiries on this type of space. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by <br />Ms. King and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 2523 <br />approving an application for real property tax <br />deduction for property located at 3305 <br />Lathrop Drive in the Airport Economic <br />Development Area. (Gateway Plaza Real <br />Estate) <br />B. Housing <br />(1) Loan and Grant in connection with the <br />South Bend Home Improvement Program <br />for property located at 909 Blaine Avenue. <br />(Charles and Esther Jane Wilson) <br />Mr. Inks noted that the loan is $6,700; the <br />grant is $6,567. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by <br />Ms. King and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the Loan and Grant in <br />connection with the South Bend Home <br />Improvement Program for property located at <br />909 Blaine Avenue.
