Other <br /> Heritage Homes Southeast as well as a myriad of single family houses and other <br /> structures; and <br /> 1 WHEREAS, Jeff always pushed organizations and individuals to do more than <br /> they thought that they could do and make them happy with the result; and <br /> g <br /> 3 WHEREAS, Jeff was able to relate to a wide array of people in our <br /> gcommunity—sharing his vision and passion for what could be; and <br /> 1 WHEREAS, with Jeff's passing the community has lost a great visionary, <br /> 1 leader and friend; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the South Bend Redevelopment <br /> Commission hereby honors Jeffrey V. Gibney for his extraordinary commitment and <br /> distinguished service to the City of South Bend;posthumously thanks him for the <br /> outstanding contributions he has made; and declares it will sincerely miss his diligent <br /> work in the community. <br /> ` ADOPTED at a meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission held <br /> ��°✓ on April 24, 2014, at 1308 County-City Building, 227 W Jefferson Boulevard, South <br /> Bend, Indiana 46601. <br /> Upon a motion by Mr. Varner, seconded by Ms. Schey and unanimously carried, the <br /> I Commission approved Resolution No. 3210 honoring Jeffrey V. Gibney for extraordinary <br /> I service to the South Bend Community and South Bend Redevelopment Commission. <br /> A. Public Hearings <br /> 1 <br /> i (1) Public Hearing on Resolution No. 3211 authorizing the issuance of bonds for the <br /> purpose of providing funds to be applied to pay for the refunding of certain <br /> outstanding South Bend Redevelopment District Special Taxing District Bonds of 2002 <br /> ) and to pay incidental expenses in connection therewith and on account of the issuance <br /> 1 of the bonds, and appropriating the proceeds thereof. <br /> Mr. Zeeb noted that Resolution No. 3211 authorizes the issuance of refunding bonds of the <br /> Redevelopment District(the"Refunding Bonds") that would be issued to refund the South <br /> Bend Redevelopment District Special Taxing District Bonds of 2002 (the "2002 Bonds") <br /> and appropriates the proceeds of the refunding bonds. The 2002 Bonds are outstanding in <br /> l the principal amount of$3,405,000. It is anticipated that refunding of the 2002 Bonds will <br /> i result in a significant savings for the Redevelopment Commission. Like the 2002 Bonds, it <br /> 1 is anticipated that all the debt service on the Refunding Bonds will be paid from TIF <br /> Revenues from the Airport TIF Area.
