Attorney Cory Hamel stated he is presenting an eye <br />witness policy to be adopted across all departments, including the county, to give a uniform policy. <br />He handed out the policy to the Board members for review for their next meeting. <br />Mr. Theodore Robert stated he submitted a letter to the Board requesting to meet in private with <br />them. He stated the Police want their department to be a beacon to other police departments, like the <br />Fire department. Mr. Robert suggested the department's interpretation of the duty manual is not <br />always correct and is in violation of the duty manual and the office of professional standards. Mr. <br />Robert requested the Board consider his letter requesting a meeting including the Chiefs and the <br />Human Resources Department to discuss several issues regarding the Duty Manual interpretation. <br />Mr. Derek Dieter, Vice Chairman of the Council informed the Board that some members of the <br />Council want to initiate a review committee and he is here to let the Board know that the council is <br />not looking into this idea. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon a motion by Mr. Jones, seconded by <br />Mr. Taylor and carried, the meeting adjourned at 9A3a.m. <br />ATTEST: <br />L, da M.
