Gillis <br />ANNEXATION <br />Dear Ms. Pfiefer: <br />I am attaching for filling, the above - referenced resolution, which is a companion to Bill No. 77 -05. This <br />Bill proposes to voluntarily annex contiguous territory in German Township to the City of South Bend. The <br />resolution indicates the approval and adoption by the Common Council of the written plan and policy attached <br />thereto concerning the provision of services, both capital and non - capital in nature, to the territory to be annexed. <br />This Annexation is a 12.72 acre parcel at the southeast comer of Portage and Brick Roads. All public <br />improvements, if any, will be required to be done at the expense of the developer. Please note that on page 9 of the <br />fiscal plan, that additional development criteria are being suggested. <br />I am requesting that the attached resolution be placed on the January 9, 2005 agenda of the Common <br />Council meeting at which the companion Bill is given Second Reading.
