Resolution No. <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA PROCLAIMING THAT THE 3RD WEEKEND IN JULY BE DEDICATED AS <br />SPIRIT ANIMAL NATION WEEKEND AT POTAWATOMI PARK <br />764W4, the animal tree carvings have brought PRIDE to Potawatomi Park, and <br />?More", the carvings have turned dead oak stumps into Magical Spirit Animals for all <br />generations, especially for our children to enjoy, <br />?6t4 w", Victor Riley and Rod "Trailblazer" Goodchild have teamed up to fund /carve <br />these magical Animals at NO COST to the South Bend taxpayers, and <br />Mew", the very first carving was approved in October, 2013 and since then 8 dead <br />trees have been set aside for carving and 6 have already have been carved. The first being the <br />"Eagle has Landed" in front of the Ella Morris Greenhouse. The second one "Six Spirit Animals" <br />'Big Rod' and 'The Eagle Nest' in the Northeast sector of the Potawatomi Park. <br />?WvwA4, Families have already been inspired by the carvings in the park and many <br />Pictures have been taken standing next to the Spirit Animals, empowering our youth to dream <br />big and succeed. <br />?Aw, dfe4ne, be it proclaimed by the South Bend Common Council of the City of South <br />Bend, Indiana as follows: <br />Section I. That the 3rd weekend in July be dedicated as Spirit Animal Nation Weekend at <br />Potawatomi Park. <br />Section II.
