N0. c-O 7� <br />AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE SALE, LENDING, <br />GIVING AWAY, OR POSSESSION OF OBSCENE, LEWD, <br />INDECENT OR LASCIVIOUS PHONOGRAPH RECORDS, <br />SOUND TRANSCRIPTIONS, WIRE RECORDINGS OR <br />SIMILAR DEVICE OR ARTICLES, AND PROVIDING <br />PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana: <br />Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or <br />corporation to sell, lend or lease, offer to sell, lend or lease, <br />or give away or offer to give away, or be in possession of, with <br />or without intent to sell, lend or give away, any phonograph <br />records, sound transcriptions, wire recordings, or similar devices <br />or articles which contain obscene, lewd, indecent or lascivious <br />language. <br />Section 2. Any person, firm or corporation convicted of <br />a violation of this ordinance shall be punished by a fine not to <br />exceed Three Hundred 0300.00) Dollars, to which may be added <br />imprisonment not to exceed six (6) months. <br />Section 3.
