<br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 55, OF CHAPTER 29, OF
<br />ORDINANCE NO 3709, APPROVED JULY 12 1949, COMMONLY
<br />KNOWN AS "MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE.CITY OF SOUTH BEND.,
<br />INDIANA, 1949:°
<br />Be it ordained by the ;Common Council of the City of South Bend,
<br />Indiana: .
<br />SECTION 1. That Section 55, of Chapter 29, of Ordinance No. 3709,
<br />approved J . 2, 1949, and commonly known as the "Municipal Code of
<br />the City of:South Bend, Indiana., 1919 °, be and the -same hereby is
<br />amended to read as follows:
<br />Sec. 55. ZONES.
<br />The following named and designated areas, streets or portion of
<br />streets, and such other areas, streets, or portions of streets as may
<br />hereafter be included in this section by amendment hereto., ]ying with -
<br />in the corporate limits of the- city,.shall constitute and are hereby'
<br />established as.Parking Meter zones, and all frontage in such squares,
<br />streets or avenues defining the zones to be included therein, namely;:,.
<br />Michigan Street from Marion Street to Bronson Street,
<br />Michigan Street, the east side thereof. from Bronson Street to
<br />ohio'Street,
<br />Michigan Street, the west side thereof, from Bronson Street to.
<br />Gafst Street,
<br />'Main Street from Madison. Street to Monroe Street,
<br />LaFaryette Boulevard from LaSalle Avenue to Monroe Street,
<br />"St. Joseph Street from Lincoln Way East to South Street.,
<br />LaSalle Avenue from William Street to east end of St. Joseph
<br />River Bridge,,
<br />Colfax Avenue from Michigan Street to William Street.,
<br />Washington Avenue from William Street to Artesian Avenue,
<br />Jefferson Boulevard from William Street to west end of St.
<br />Joseph River Bridged
<br />Payne Street from William Street to Carroll Street,
<br />Western Avenue from Michigan Street to"William,Street,
<br />Monroe Street from William Street to St Joseph,Street,:
<br />Sonth.Street from Main Street to -St. Joseph Street,
<br />Lincoln Way East from Washington Avenue to Columbia Street,
<br />' Lincoln Way West from LaSalle Avenue to William Street,
