Under Indiana law, I.C. 36-4 - <br />7-2(c), the Mayor's salary may not be reduced from the prior year's amount. This ordinance <br />increases the Mayor's 2015 salary by 2% over his 2014 salary which is the same as the proposed <br />increase for other employees. <br />I will present this Ordinance at the Council's Personnel & Finance Committee meeting and at the <br />public hearing.
