JOSEPH COUNTY, INDIANA, <br />AND THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, BY AND <br />THROUGH ITS BOARD OF PUBLIC -WORKS AND SAFETY, <br />CONCERNING THE TRANSFER OF TITLE TO THE CITY <br />OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, TO CERTAIN REAL ESTATE <br />THEREIN DESCRIBED. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana: <br />Section 1. That an Agreement made and entered into <br />on the 16th day of October, 1950, by and between the Board of <br />Commissioners of St. Joseph County, Indiana, and the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana, by and through its Board of Public -Works <br />and Safety, relative to the sale to the Civil City of South Bend, <br />Indiana, of the following described real estate situate in St. <br />Joseph County, Indiana: <br />Beginning on the East and blest center line <br />of Section 27, Township No._ 38 North, Range <br />3 East, a distance of one thousand four hundred <br />thirty and six tenths (1,430.6) feet East of <br />the blest Quarter (1/4) corner of said section, <br />thence North six hundred sixty (660) feet, <br />thence East six hundred (600) feet, thence <br />South six hundred sixty (660) feet, thence <br />blest six hundred (600) feet to the place of <br />beginning, containing nine and ninety -nine <br />hundredths (9.99) acres, more or less; <br />a copy of which Agreement is hereto attached and made a part <br />hereof, be, and the same hereby is, in all things confirmed, <br />ratified and approved. <br />Section 2. That the confirmation, ratification and <br />approval provided for in Section 1 of this Ordinance is given by <br />the Common Council at a special meeting called for said purpose <br />by ten days notice published one time in two newspapers of opposit <br />political views published in the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />Section 3.
