ORDINANCE NO. &,P c2 (-C- AN ORDINANCE REDUCING CERTAIN ITEMS IN THE 1953; MUNICIPAL CIVIL CITY BUDGET OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, IDNIANA: AND APPROPRIATING FROM THE GENERAL FUND OF SAID CITY THE SUM OF ONE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED ($1,600.00) DOLLARS, TO CERTAIN OTHER BUDGETARY ITEMS OF THE 1951 BUDGET OF SAID CITY, AND DECLARING AN EXTRAORDINARY EMERGENCY, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: Section 1. That the following items in the 1951 budget of the Municipal Civil City of South Bend, Indiana, in the Department indicated in this Section, be, and the same hereby are reduced in the amounts herein below stated, to -wit: POLICE DEPARTMENT P :11, Services Personal $1,000.00 P -263, Pistol Range Assistance and Service 600.00 Section 2. That the sum of One Thousand Six Hundred ($1,600.00) Dollars be, and the same is hereby appropriated from the General Fund Qf, the Municipal Civil City of South Bend, Indiana, to, aid is appropr- iated sr the uses and purposes of the following budgetary items in the amounts and to the Department set forth below, in this Sectionin the budget for the year 1951, to -wit: POLICE DEPARTMENT: P -262, Medical, Surgical and Dental Service $1,000.00 P -711, Building and Fixed Equipment (Pistol Range) 600.00 Section 3. That the sum of monies, enumerated in Section 2 of this Ordinance, are required and necessary for the proper and efficient operation and function of the aforementioned Department of the Goverrnyemt of the Municipal Civil City of South Bend, Indiana, and an extraordinary emergency is hereby declared to exist concerning the foregoing appropriations. Section 4.
