ORDINANCE NO. &,P c2 (-C- <br />AN ORDINANCE REDUCING CERTAIN ITEMS IN THE <br />1953; MUNICIPAL CIVIL CITY BUDGET OF THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, IDNIANA: AND APPROPRIATING <br />FROM THE GENERAL FUND OF SAID CITY THE SUM <br />OF ONE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED ($1,600.00) <br />DOLLARS, TO CERTAIN OTHER BUDGETARY ITEMS OF <br />THE 1951 BUDGET OF SAID CITY, AND DECLARING <br />AN EXTRAORDINARY EMERGENCY, <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana: <br />Section 1. That the following items in the 1951 <br />budget of the Municipal Civil City of South Bend, <br />Indiana, in the Department indicated in this Section, <br />be, and the same hereby are reduced in the amounts <br />herein below stated, to -wit: <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />P :11, Services Personal $1,000.00 <br />P -263, Pistol Range Assistance <br />and Service 600.00 <br />Section 2. That the sum of One Thousand Six Hundred <br />($1,600.00) Dollars be, and the same is hereby <br />appropriated from the General Fund Qf, the Municipal <br />Civil City of South Bend, Indiana, to, aid is appropr- <br />iated sr the uses and purposes of the following <br />budgetary items in the amounts and to the Department <br />set forth below, in this Sectionin the budget for the <br />year 1951, to -wit: <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT: <br />P -262, Medical, Surgical <br />and Dental Service $1,000.00 <br />P -711, Building and Fixed <br />Equipment (Pistol Range) 600.00 <br />Section 3. That the sum of monies, enumerated in <br />Section 2 of this Ordinance, are required and necessary <br />for the proper and efficient operation and function of <br />the aforementioned Department of the Goverrnyemt of the <br />Municipal Civil City of South Bend, Indiana, and an <br />extraordinary emergency is hereby declared to exist <br />concerning the foregoing appropriations. <br />Section 4.
