ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDnWCE REDUCING CERTAIN ITEMS IN THE 1951 SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, MUNICIPAL CIVIL.CITY BUDGET, AND APPRO- PRIATING FROM THE GENERAL FUND OF SAID CITY THE SUM OF TWENTY -FOUR THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED ($24,300.00) DOLLARS, TO CERTAIN OTHER BUDGETARY ITEMS OF.THE 1951 BUDGET OF SAID CITY, AND DECLARING AN EXTRAORDINARY EMERGENCY. BE IT ORD&I ED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: Section 1. That the following items in the 1951 budget of the Municipal Civil City of South Bend, Indiana, in the Departments indicated in this section, be, and the same hereby are, reduced in the amounts herein below stated, to -wit: FIRE DEPARTMENT: Q -11, Services Personal $182300.00 ELECTRICAL MW : V -11, Services Personal $6,000.00 Section 2. That the sum of Twenty -four Thousand Three Hundred ($24,300.00) Dollars be, and the same hereby is appropriated from the General Find of the Municipal Civil City of South Bend, Indiana, to, and is appropriated for the uses and purposes of the following budget- ary items in the amounts and to the Departments set forth below, in this Section, in the budget for the year 1951, to -wit: Q -251, Repairs to Buildings and Structures 4-724, Motor Equipment (Replacement of 1 - Chief's Car $2,500.00 1 - Inspector's Car 1,800.00) Q -7262 Other Equipment (Purchase of hose for new No. 13 Fire Station) Q -73, Land (Additional amount needed to complete 1951 purchase of land for No. 14 Fire Station) (For purchase of land for No. 15 Fire Station) V -2161 Travel Expenses V -331, Gasoline V -38, General Supplies V -725, Office Equipment (Typewriter) V -726, other Equipment (Replacement of old Fire Alarm Batteries for signal station) E, $3,000.00 $4,300.00 $5,000.00 $100.00 140.00 600.00 160.00 $5,000.00
