ORDINANCE NO. 3864 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AN AMENDMENT OF THE GARBAGE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND AND DEPENDABLE DISPOSAL COMPANY, INC., WHICH AMENDMENT WAS ENTERED INTO ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND BY ITS BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY AND THE DEPENDABLE DISPOSAL COMPANY, INC. BE IT ORDAINED, by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: Section 1. That a contract made and entered into on the 24th day of March, 1952, by and between the City of South Bend, Indiana, by and through its Board of Public Works and Safety and the Dependable Disposal Company, Inc., a corporation (formerly Herman Waechter d /b /a Dependable Disposal Company) of South Bend, amending a contract hereto- fore entered into on the 7th day of November, 1949 by the said parties, providing for additional payment by the City of South Bend to said Contractor of Eight Thousand Dollars 08,000.00) per year, a copy of which is hereto attached and made a part hereof, be and the same is hereby in all things confirmed, ratified and approved. Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and its approval by the Mayor.
