1d & 2n2 R! <br />C@ 217TEE <br />PUBLIC HEA <br />3rd READIHO <br />NOT APPROV, <br />REFERRED <br />PASSED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 3 f Z <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTWRIZING THE SALE OF CERTAIN <br />DWELLING UNITS OWNED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA. <br />s • r <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the Civil City of South Bend, <br />Indiana: <br />SECTION I. <br />That the portable frame dwelling units consisting of thirteen <br />(13) three bedroom units and ten (10) two bedroom units now <br />located on the Plaza site of the South Bend Veterans Housing <br />Project, which site is bounded on the north by Monroe St., on <br />the west by Williams St., on the east by Lafayette Blvd, and <br />on the south by South St., be appraised and sold by the Board <br />of Public Works and Safety at public auction for not less than <br />the full appraisal value thereof. <br />SECTION II: <br />That the Judge of the St.Joseph Circuit Court be requested to <br />appoint three disinterested freeholders of the City of South <br />Bend, Indiana to appraise the dwelling units herein described. <br />SECTION III: <br />That the City of South Bend,Indiana, through its Board of <br />Public Works and Safety, and subject to such terms anti condi- <br />tions as said Board shall determine, shall sell, transfer and <br />deliver to any purchaser, or purchasers, thereof the dwelling <br />units herein described for not less than the full appraised <br />value thereof and the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed <br />to execute and deliver to such purchaser, or purchasers, thereof <br />upon the payment of the purchase price in full, a good and <br />sufficient instrument of transfer of right, title and interest. <br />SECTION IV: <br />That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and <br />after its adoption by the Common Council and its approval by <br />the Mayor. <br />'Z6';Z <br />il70 —/o —5—� ember of t Common Counci <br />Km THE m <br />
