ORDINANCE NO., _y <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FROM THE GEidERAL <br />FUND THE SUM OF SIXTEEN RUmi RED EIGHTY ($1,680,00) <br />DOLLARS TO CERTAIN BUDGETARY ITEMS OF THE 1952 <br />BUDGET OF THE CIVIL, CITY OF SOUTH BEND, IND. <br />AND DECLARING AN EXTRAORDINARY EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: <br />Section 1. That the sum of Sixteen Hundred Eighty ($1,680.00) <br />Dollars be, and the same hereby is, appropriated from the general fund of the <br />Civil City of South Bend, Indiana, to, and is hereby appropriated for, the <br />uses and purposes of the following budgetary items in the amounts and to the <br />departments set forth below in this Section in the budget for the year 1952, <br />to-wit: <br />ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT: <br />Services - Personal <br />V -11. Salary of Superintendent - - - - - - - - - - -$ 240,00 <br />Salary of Assistant Superintendent - - - - - 2140.00 <br />Salary of Linemen (5(& $240) - - - - - - - - - 1200.00 <br />Total Services Personal - - - - - - - - - $1680.00 <br />Section 2. That the sum of monies enumerated in Section 1 of this <br />Ordinance is required and necessary for the proper and efficient operation and <br />function of the aforementioned department of the Government of the Civil City <br />if South Bend,Ind., and an extraordinary emergency is hereby declared to exist <br />concerning the foregoing appropriation. <br />Section 3.
