ORDINANCE NO. -& AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING FUNDS FROM Q11 SERVICES PERSONAL, FIRE DEPART- MENT, TO Q724 MOTOR EQUIPMENT, FIRE DEPARTMENT, IN THE AMOUNT OF $16,700.00; AN EMERGENCY APPROPRIATION OF 03,200.00 FROM GEN:—,,iAL STREET AND TRAFFIC FUND TO S251 REPAIRS OF BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES, STREET DEPARTMENT, OF THE BUDGET OF 1953 OF THE CIVIL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana: SECTION 1. The sum of $16,700.00 is hereby transferred from Q11 Services Personal, Fire Department, to X724 Motor Equipment, Fire Department; and the sum of $3,200.00 is hereby appropriated from General Street and Traffic Fund to S251 Repairs to Buildings and Structures, Street Department; all of the budget for the year 1953 of the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana. SECTION 2. The above funds are required for the proper operation and functioning of the aforementioned Departments under the budget for the year 1953 and an emergency is declared to exist concerning said transfers and appropriations. SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the Mayor and the fulfill- ment of all statutory requirements relating to emergency appropriations.
