ORDINANCE NO*yZ� AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 36a OF CHAPTER 29 OF GENERAL ORDINANCE NOo 3709 KNOWN AS THE 1949 MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CIT Y OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA* BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the Civil City of South Bends Indiana* SECTION Is That Section 36a of Chapter 29 of General Ordinance No. 3709 known as the 1949 Municipal Code of the City of South Bend, Indiana be# and the same is hereby amended by the addition of the following paragraph: No person shall stand or park any vehicle upon any public street or alley between the hours of 2s00 otclook A46 and S OO otclook AeM.e from the last Sunday in September to the last Sunday in April and between the hours of 1100 otclook A *Me and 4100 otclook AeM* from the last Sunday in April to the last Sunday-in September of each year' within the central commercial area of the City of South Bend* Indianae with the exception of Saturday and Sunday nights, which area will include the following streets: LaSalle Ave* f rom Michigan Ste to Lafayette Blvde; William St* f rom LaSalle Ave* to Washington Ave.; Washington Ave. from William Ste to Michigan St.; Lafayette Blvd* from LaSalle Ave. to South St.; Main Ste from LaSalle Ave* to South Ste; Michigan Ste from LaSalle Avee to-Washington Ave *; Jefferson Blvd* from Franklin Place to Lincoln Way East; Wayne Ste from Franklin Ste to Ste Joseph Sto; Western Ave* from Franklin Ste to Michigan St.; Monroe St* from Lafayette Blvd* to Ste Joseph St *; South Ste from William Ste to Ste Joseph Ste; Michigan Ste from South St* to Washington Ave.; Ste Joseph Ste from South Ste to Lincoln Way East; Linooln Way East from Washington Avee to Jefferson Blvd.; Colfax Avee from William Ste to Michigan Ste Providede howevere that vehicles may be left standing er parked for periods not exceeding forty (40) minutes at a time to enable the operator thereof to transact necessary business within the immediate area. SECTION II* That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption by the Common Council and its approval by the Mayor and legal publication.
