<br />DEPARUMT 1-724, MOTOR EQUIPMENT, $50, TO 1-214
<br />TELEPHONE & TELEGRAPH, $50; FROM FIRE DEPARTMENT
<br />Q -11, SALAREE;S, $500 to Q -262, MEDICAL SERVICES,
<br />$400 AND TO Q- -344, MEDICAL SUPPLIES, $700; FROM
<br />POLICE DEPARTMENT P -11, SALARIES, $3,000 TO BOARD
<br />OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY, H-221A, STREET LIGHTS
<br />AND TRAFFIC SIGNALS, $3,000, ALL OF THE BUDGET FOR
<br />THE YEAR 1952 OF THE CIVIL CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
<br />INDIANA.
<br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the Civil City of South Bend,
<br />Indiana; .
<br />SECTION 1. The following monies be, and the same hereby are, trans-
<br />ferred from Engineering Department, L -724, motor equipment, $50, to
<br />and are appropriated for L -214, telegraph and telephone, $50.
<br />SECTION 2. The sum of $500 is hereby transferred from Fire Department,
<br />0-11, salaries,to, and appropriated for, Q -262, medical services, in
<br />the amount of $400 and to Q -3414, medical supplies, in the amount of
<br />$100.
<br />SECTION 3. The sum of $3,000 is hereby transferred from Police De-
<br />partment, P -11, salaries, to, and appropriated for, Board of Public
<br />Works and Safety, B =221A, street lights and traffic signals, in the
<br />amount of $3,000.
<br />SECTION 4. The above funds are required for the proper operation and
<br />functioning of the aforementioned departments under the budget for the
<br />year 1952 and an emergency is declared to exist concerning the fore-
<br />going transfers and appropriations.
<br />SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
<br />and after its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the Mayor
<br />and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements relating to emergency
<br />appropriations.
