ORDINANCE NO.-9 dA—;� <br />AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING MONIES FROM P -11, <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT SALARY FUND, TO P -726, <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT OTHER EQUIPMENT FUND, $129000, <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend,Indiam, <br />That: <br />SECTION 1. The following monies be, and the same hereby are, trans- <br />ferred from P -11, Police Department Salary Fund, to and are appropriated <br />for the uses and purposes of the following budgetary item in the budget <br />of the City of South Bend for the year 1952, to —wit: To P -726 Police <br />Department Other Equipment, $12,000. <br />SECTION 2. The above funds are required for the proper operation <br />and function of the aforementioned department and an emergency is <br />declared to exist concerning the foregoing transfer and appropriation. <br />SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from <br />and after its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the Mayor <br />and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements relating to emergency <br />appropriations, <br />of the Common Coi}oil <br />for /! <br />
