Mr. Relos responded that it is. All eight heirs have signed the settlement. Their <br /> attorney participated in the negotiation also. <br /> Upon a motion by Ms. Schey, seconded by Mr. Downes and unanimously carried, the <br /> Commission approved the Waiver of the Right of Redemption by and between the South <br /> Bend Redevelopment Commission and the Statutory Heirs of Louise Franklin. (1509 S. <br /> Kendall St.) <br /> (2) Resolution No. 3220 approving and authorizing the execution of an Addendum to the <br /> Master Agency Agreement (Nello Equipment Purchase Project) <br /> Mr. Relos noted that at its June 26 meeting the Commission approved the Economic <br /> Development Memorandum of Understanding with Nello. Resolution No. 3220 assigns to <br /> the Board of Public Works the responsibility to oversee the writing of specifications and <br /> advertising, and opening and awarding of bids on the equipment. Staff requests approval. <br /> Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by Mr. Inks and unanimously carried, the <br /> Commission approved Resolution No. 3220 approving and authorizing the execution of an <br /> Addendum to the Master Agency Agreement(Nello Equipment Purchase Project) <br /> (3) Agreement for Professional Services by and between the City of South Bend, Indiana <br /> and Patriot Engineering & Environmental, Inc. (Lot 7 Ignition Park) <br /> Mr. Kain noted that the Commission approved in March a development agreement with <br /> Great Lakes Capital for the building of a campus of high technology buildings in Ignition <br /> Park. As part of the development agreement the Commission committed to providing a new <br /> Phase I Environmental Site Assessment of the property. Staff requests approval of a <br /> proposal by Patriot Engineering & Environmental, Inc. in the amount of$2,300 from the <br /> Airport Economic Development Area TIF. <br /> Upon a motion by Ms. Schey, seconded by Mr. Downes and unanimously carried, the <br /> Commission approved the Agreement for Professional Services by and between the City of <br /> South Bend, Indiana and Patriot Engineering & Environmental, Inc. (Lot 7 Ignition Park) <br /> C. West Washington-Chapin Development Area <br /> There was no business in the West Washington-Chapin Development Area. <br /> 4 <br />
