SBCDA • Will retire, and be reallocated with those portions west of the St. Joseph River to join the AEDA and that which is east of the River to join the NNDA. • Contraction of the Museum Campus. 6. SSDA • Expansion to include the Scottsdale Community Center on York Road. • Will retire the Erskine Village Allocation Area with the repayment of debt in 2018. 7. WWCDA • Re-align a portion on the south and east side of the Area into the AEDA. • Will retire in 2018. Beginning in 2018, it is planned that the Douglas Road Economic Development Area, the WWCDA, and the Erskine Village Allocation Area in the SSDA will be closed and increment released, leaving only the AEDA, NNDA, and SSDA as TIF areas within the I City The realignment process itself has presented an opportunity to improve the accuracy of our information. Through a parcel by parcel analysis, DCI staff have been able to update the records on over 1,120 parcels and eliminate discrepancies between City and County records for over 890 properties. This information will enable more precise budgeting and improve our collections. Proposed Schedule: • 8/25/14: Redevelopment Commission Declaratory Resolutions 9/16/14: Area Plan Commission to review for alignment with the City's development plan and adopt an approving order. I • 9/22/14: Common Council — Declaratory Resolution for approval • 9/23/14: Upon approval by Area Plan Commission and Common Council, notices will be mailed and published for a public hearing at the Commission's October 16th meeting. • 10/16/14: Redevelopment Commission — Confirming Resolution presented for L consideration. i i i , 227 W.
