CITY OF SOUTH BEND <br />ORDINANCE NO, 4072 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING, RATIFYING <br />WHEREAS, heretofore, to -wit: <br />......... ............................... <br />....-. .................... ............................... a a. <br />on the 6th day of February, <br />1956, the City of South Bend, Indiana, acting by and through its Board <br />of Public Works and Safety, entered into the following contract with <br />Northern Indiana Transit, Inc.: <br />C O N T R A C T <br />THIS CONTRACT, made and entered into this <br />6th day of February, 1956, by and between the <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, acting by and through <br />its Board of.Public Works and Safety, hereinafter <br />called the First Party, and NORTHERN INDIANA TRAN- <br />SIT, INC., a corporation organized under the laws <br />of.the State of Indiana, its successors and <br />assigns, hereinafter called the Second Party, <br />WITNESSETH:. <br />The parties hereto agree that the certain <br />contract made between the parties and confirmed <br />by Ordinance of the Common Council of the City <br />of South Bend, on or about the 13th day of May, <br />1940, as amended by a contract entered into on <br />the 13th day of February, 1948, between the par- <br />ties and thereafter confirmed by the Common Coun- <br />cil and as further amended by a contract entered <br />into the 8th day of July, 1950 between the par- <br />ties and thereafter confirmed by the Common Coun- <br />cil, and as further amended bycontract entered <br />into on the 10th day of March, 1952, and there- <br />after confirmed by the Common Council, and as <br />161 2nd READING ��y� <br />further <br />th conhe <br />COMMITTEE Of THE WNOLE <br />firmed by the Common Council, shall be and is <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />hereby amended in each of the following respects: <br />Ord READF„G <br />NOT ArPTVIQ <br />REFERRED <br />PASSED /� /�` <br />
