ORDINANCE NO. -9 ?? <br />AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING $1220.00 <br />FROM ME -216 ELECTRICAL INSPECTION <br />DEPARTMENT (TRAVEL EXPENSES) TO ME-11 <br />SERVICES PERSONAL; FROM 1-38 GENERAL <br />SUPPLIES (ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT) <br />$50.00 TO 1-725 OFFICE EQUIPMENT; <br />FROM Q -11 SERVICES PERSONAL (FIRE <br />DEPARTMENT) $3700.00 TO Q -222 GAS <br />$1,000.00, 0-223 INSTRUCTION $200.00, <br />Q -251 REPAIRS OF BUILDINGS AND <br />STRUCTURES $2,000.00, Q -262 MEDICAL, <br />SURGICAL AND DENTAL $500.00; FROM <br />721 FURNITURE.AND FIXTURES (CITY PLAN <br />COMMISSION) $150.00 TO 36 OFFICE <br />SUPPLIES; ALL OF THE BUDGET FOR 1954 <br />OF THE CIVIL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE .IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana: <br />SECTION I: The following sums of money are hereby transferred: $1220.00 <br />from ME -216 Electrical Inspection Department (Travel Expenses) to ME-11 Service; <br />Personal to be allocated as follows: $600.00 Salary of Chief Electrical <br />Inspector, $1,20.00 Salary of Assistant Electrical Inspector and $200.00 Salary <br />of Assistant Electrical Inspector; from L-38 General Supplies (Engineering <br />Department) $50.00 to L -725 Office Equipment; from Q -11 Services.Personal <br />(Fire Department) $3700.00 to Q -222 Gas $1 000.00, Q -223 Instruction $200.00, <br />Q -251 Repairs of Buildings and Structures 62,000.00, Q -262 Medical, Surgical <br />and Dental $500.00; and from 721 Furniture and Fixtures (City Plan Commission) <br />$150.00 to 36 Office Supplies; all of the budget for the year 1954 of the Civil <br />City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />SECTION II: The above funds are required for the proper operation and <br />functioning of the aforementioned Departments under the budget for the year <br />1954 and an emergency is declared to exist concerning said transfers and <br />appropriations. <br />SECTION III: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after <br />its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the Mayor and the fulfill- <br />ment of all statutory requirements relating to emergency appropriations. <br />Mem r of the Common Council <br />' 4 <br />✓ a:;. / r. <br />T <br />
