ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE <br />No. 3702 COMMONLY KNOWN AS "THE <br />ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF <br />SOUTH BEND, INDIANA." <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana: <br />SECTION I. That Ordinance No. 3702 commonly known as "The Zoning Ordinance of <br />South Bend, Indiana" be amended so that the same shall hereafter be and read as <br />follows: <br />SECTION 4 <br />"B" Residence District <br />In the "B" Residence District no building or premises shall be used and <br />no building shall be erected, moved, structurally altered, or enlarged, which <br />is intended or designed to be used in mole or in part other than for one or <br />more of the following specified uses: <br />(1) Any use permitted in the "A -1" Residence District. <br />(2) Apartment houses, boarding and lodging houses. <br />(3) Institutions of an educational, philanthropic or eleemosynary nature. <br />(4) Nursing homes, public or private clinics, principal offices of physi- <br />cian or dentist, provided no name plate exceeding one square foot in <br />area is used. <br />(5) Private clubs, lodges, fraternity and sorority houses, social and recrea- <br />tional center buildings, except those whose chief activity is a service cus- <br />tomarily carried on as a business. <br />(6) Customary agricultural uses, except farms operated for the dispaaa.1 <br />of refuse, garbage, offal, fur, and stock, farms. <br />(7) Accessory buildings customarily incidental to any of above uses when <br />located on the same lot. <br />SECTION II.
