43 <br />TO: The Honorable Mayor <br />Common Council <br />of the City of South Bend, Indiana <br />PETITION TO ZONE REAL ESTATE <br />i. <br />CITY CLERK <br />The undersigned petitioner would respectfully show to <br />your honorable body that it is the owner of the following <br />real estate located in the City of South Bend, St. Joseph County <br />in the State of Indiana, to -wit: <br />Lots "Q -2 ", "F -2" and "E -2" as shown on the <br />recorded Plat of Wenger and Krieghbaum's <br />Vistula Avenue Addition, more fully described <br />as beginning on the west edge of the St. <br />Joseph River on the line between lots "Q -?" <br />and 'H -2" as shown on the recorded Plat of. <br />Wenger and Krieghbaum's Vistula Avenue Addi- <br />tion, thence Southwest on the line between <br />said lots "G -2" and "H -2 ", to Lincoln Way <br />East, thence Northwest on the Easterly line <br />of Lincoln Way East 136.7 feet, thence <br />Northeast parallel to the line between said <br />Lots "G -2" and "H -2" 30 feet; thence North- <br />west parallel to Lincoln Way East 50 feet; <br />thence Northeast parallel tothe line between <br />said lots "Q -2" and "H -2 ", to the St. Joseph <br />River, thence Southeast along said river, <br />to the place of beginning. <br />The undersigned would further show that said real estate <br />presently has no classification; that prior to the 13th day of <br />August, 1951, it was South Bend public park land; that on said dal <br />it was conveyed to the undersigned by George A. Schock, Mayor of <br />the City of South Bend, and that to date no zoning classification <br />has been given the above described real estate. <br />Your petitioner would show that the land lying immedia <br />West of the above described real estate is zoned D Light Industr <br />that the land lying immediately East of the above described real <br />estate is in a C Commercial district; that the land lying across <br />the street and immediately adjacent thereto is zoned as Light <br />Industrial or has no zoning classification at all by reason of <br />
