Lease shall terminate and become null and void on the last day of the fiscal period for which <br />appropriations were received. Lessee agrees that it will make its best efforts to obtain sufficient <br />funds, including, but not limited to, requesting in its budget for each fiscal period during the term <br />hereof sufficient funds to meet its obligations hereunder in full. <br />16.14 Non - Discrimination. Lessor shall not discriminate against any employee <br />or applicant for employment to be employed by Lessor in the performance of this Lease, with <br />respect to his or her hire, tenure, terms, conditions, or privileges of employment, or any matter <br />directly or indirectly related to employment, because of his or her race, religion, color, sex, <br />handicap, disability, national origin, ancestry, disabled veteran status, or veteran status. Breach <br />of this Part shall be regarded as a material breach of this Lease agreement. <br />16.15 Authorization. The undersigned represent and warrant that (i) such party <br />is duly organized, validly existing and in good standing (if applicable) in accordance with the <br />laws of the state under which it was organized; and (ii) the individual executing and delivering <br />this Lease has been properly authorized to do so, and such execution and delivery shall bind such <br />party. <br />16.16 Counterparts. This Lease may be executed in counterparts, all of which <br />shall be deemed originals. <br />16.17 Exhibits.
