<br />SERVICE - PERSONAL, $10, 300.00: TO FIRE DEPARTMENTS,
<br />Q »724, MOTOR EQUIPMENT, $5300. 00 (Two passenger cars
<br />and one truck); TO FIRE DEPARTMENT, Q -726, OTHER EQUIP-
<br />MENT, $3000.00 (Fire Hose); TO FIRE DEPARTMENTS, Q -331,
<br />GASOLINE, $2000.00, ALL OF THE BUDGET FOR THE CIVIL
<br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, FOR 1956 AND DECLARING
<br />AN EXTRAORDINARY EMERGENCY.
<br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana:
<br />SECTION I: The following sums of money are hereby transferred and appro-
<br />priated: From Office of City Clerk, Cw36, Office Supplies, $200. 00, to Office
<br />of City Clerk, C -725, Office Equipment (Typewriter $200.00); from Fire
<br />Department, Q -11, Service - Personal, $10,300. 00: To Fire Department,
<br />Q »724, Motor Equipment, $5300.00 (Two passenger cars and one truck);
<br />to Fire Department, 0-726, Other Equipment, $3000. 00 (Fire Hose); to
<br />Fire, Department, Q »331, Gasoline, $2000.00, all of the budget for the Civil
<br />City of South Bend, Indiana for 1956 and declaring an extraordinary emergency.
<br />SECTION II: The above funds are required for the proper operation and
<br />functioning of the aforementioned departments under the budget for the year 1956
<br />and an extraordinary emergency is declared to exist concerning said transfers
<br />and appropriations.
<br />SECTION III„ This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
<br />its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the Mayor and the fulfill-
<br />ment of all statutory requirements relating to extraordinary emergency appro-
<br />priations.
