/0 <br />IK & tad REi <br />60AmmE a <br />PUBLIC IlEARI <br />3rd *EADINe / <br />NOT Af?,DVED <br />REFMW <br />PASSED /O <br />ORDINANCE NO. —4�2 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A <br />CONTRACT WITH THE CITY OF <br />MISHAWAKA CONCERNING REPAIR <br />OF BOUNDARY BRIDGES. <br />WHEREAS, in 1950 repairs to the Logan Street Bridge were shared by <br />South Bend and Mishawaka in the proportion of one — fourth to South Bend and <br />three — fourths to Mishawaka and <br />WHEREAS, needed repairs to the Ironwood Bridge must be made in the <br />proportion of one — fourth to Mishawaka and three — fourths to South Bend and <br />.1iEREAS, the Citir of South Bend through its Board of Public Works <br />and Safety has entered into a contract with the City of Mishawaka providing <br />that all future repairs to the Logan Street Bridge shall be the exclusive <br />obligation of the City of Mishawaka and all future repairs to the Ironwood <br />Bridge shall be the exclusive obligation of the City of South Bend, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council: <br />Section I: That the contract entered into between the City of Mishawaka <br />and the City of South Bend by and through their respective Boards of Public <br />Works and Safety under date of October P9 h , 1954, a copy <br />of which is appended hereto, is hereby approved, ratified and confirmed, <br />Section II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after <br />its passage and approval by th <br />MIROLE <br />ate- -� SL <br />
