AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING AND APPROPRIATING FROM SANITATION DEPARTMENT SERVICES PERSONAL XX -12 $2462.00 TO BUILDING DEPARTMENT MB -11 SALARY OF BUILDING COMMISSIONER $1839.00 AND TO SALARY OF FIRST ASSISTANT BUILDING COM- MISSIONER $623.00; FROM SANITATION DEPARTMENT XX -12 SERVICES PERSONAL $29000.00 TO XX -38 GENERAL SUPPLIES $2,000.00; ALL OF THE BUDGET FOR 1954 OF THE CIVIL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana: SECTION I: The following sums of money are hereby transferred and appropriated: from Sanitation Department Services Personal XX -12 $2462.00 to Building Department MB-11 Salary of Building Commissioner $1839.00 and to Salary of First Assistant Building Commissioner $623.00; from Sanitation Department XX -12 Services Personal $2,000.00 to XX -38 General Supplies $2,000. all of the budget for the year 1954 of the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana and declaring an emergency. SECTION II: The above funds are required for the proper operation and functioning of the aforementioned Departments under the budget for the year 1954 and an emergency is declared to exist concerning said transfers and appropriations.
