(As Amended) SECTION 1. That the sum of One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00) be appropriated out of the proceeds of the bonds heretofore authorized to be issued by the Common Council, designated as "City of South Bend, Municipal Bonds of 1954," for the use of the Board of Public Works in paying the cost of construction, reconstruction and improvement of streets, the program to include these minimums: 1. The re- surfacing and improvement of Olive Street from Lincolnway West to Sample. 2. The re- surfacing of Miami Street from Ridgedale to Ireland Road. 3. The re-surfacing of Jefferson Street from 26th to Logan. 4. The resurfacing of portions of Portage Avenue. 5. The resurfacing of portions of Mishawaka Avenue. 6. Theresurfacing and improvement of Eddy Street. 7. The resurfacing of Sample Street from Grant Street to Olive Street. 8. The engineering estimates on the widening and resurfacing of La PorteAvenue. and the incidental expenses necessary to be incurred in connection with said project, including the issuance of bonds on account thereof.
