Substitute Bill No. 17 -14 <br />Responsible Animal and Pet Ownership Care and Control Regulation Ordinance <br />Page 41 <br />d. A medical condition or any other condition governed by the Americans <br />with Disabilities Act (ADA) shall be exempt from the fees listed in this <br />section for their service animal however registration of such service <br />animal is required. <br />(8) 3. Senior Citizen Exemption: Any cat or dog owner 62 years of age or older who <br />owns an altered animal ffhi}+- reeei-ve big her l registFatien ffee of eharge. <br />must register his/her altered animal with the fees for such altered animal bein <br />waived in their entirety. However, if the animal of any such person has not hF,-Rn <br />spayed or neutered, is not altered the person ho is 62 or mere Oea fs of age shall pay <br />the same permit fee and be subjeet to the above pet registi-7atien fees and eharges as <br />shall be subject to the listed fees and charges in <br />this section. <br />(b) (d) Non - Altered Residential Permits and Commercial Kennel /Cattery Permits. Any <br />person having one (1) unaltered dog or cat shall be subject to the following fees. All <br />of the following permits must be obtained upon proof that each unaltered animal has a <br />rabies vaccination number assianed to each unaltered animal which verifies that said <br />rabies vaccination(s) are current for each such unaltered animal and will be reissued <br />annually and all tags for animals registered under any permit will be issued with the <br />permit: <br />1.Residential Unaltered Animal Kenn°' r....e.,, Permit. <br />a. 0 —1 Unaltered animal $ 50.00 - <br />.}her than city pet Fegia <br />mxavx <br />b. 2 — 3 Unaltered animals $300.00 (All tags /individual animal <br />No more than three (3) unaltered animals shall be permitted in any one (1) property which is zoned <br />residential. <br />2.Commercial Kennel /Cattery Permit. (Based an deelarea eapaefty at busi___- <br />and requires zening approval) <br />After inspection(s) by the City and upon the owner providing proof of proper zoning to operate such a <br />business, the following fees shall be charged: <br />a. 6 - 15 dogs /cats $150.00 <br />b-. 16 - 25 dogs /cats $200.00 <br />E 26 or more dogs /cats $250.00 <br />(d)Each animal owned by the permit holder will be individually registered with the city; animals owned <br />by clients of a boarding business will be registered by the permit holder's clients. <br />(e) (e) Grooming Shop Permit. <br />{� Annual Fee: $100.00 and compliance with Section 5 -64. <br />
