Substitute Bill No. 17 -14 <br />Responsible Animal and Pet Ownership Care and Control Regulation Ordinance <br />Page 15 <br />1. Any animal which, when unprovoked, in an aggressive manner, inflicts severe injury on or <br />kills a human being or domestic pet. <br />2. Any animal previously determined to be and currently listed as a potentially dangerous <br />animal which, after its owner /guardian has been notified of this determination, continues the <br />potentially dangerous behavior, as defined herein or is maintained in violation of Chapter 5. <br />(i ww) fgeeo Wild animal: Any living vertebrate animal normally found in the wild state. <br />() iffiff) Zoological park: Any permanent facility or operation other than a pet shop, displaying or <br />exhibiting one W or more species of non - domestic animals, operated by a person, partnership, <br />corporation or government agency. <br />Sec. 5 -3. Regulations are Supplemental to State and County Laws. <br />The regulations of this Chapter supplement all laws of the state and county ordinances covering the <br />same subject matter. <br />Sec. 5 -4 Schedule of Fees for the Division of Animal Care and Control. <br />(a) In addition to any other fees required to be paid by state law, the fee schedule for the <br />Division of Animal Care and Control is as follows: <br />Type of Fee Fee Amount <br />Return to Owner Fees: <br />First redemption <br />$ 15.00 <br />Second redemption <br />$ 50.00 <br />Third redemption <br />$ 75.00 <br />Fourth redemption (and subsequent) <br />$100.00 <br />Daily boarding fee after legal hold 14 $ 10.00 <br />Prophylactic Vaccination & Dewormer $ 5.00 <br />Pain Medication/Antibiotics $ 2.00 per dose <br />Flea Treatment $ 10.00 per dose <br />Rabies vaccination reimbursement $ 25.00 <br />14 Any owner requesting that the Division of Animal Control hold a stray animal longer than the three (3) day stray period <br />must be approved by the Division. <br />
