ORDINANCE NO.� <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING CONTRACTS BE- <br />TWEEN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, <br />AND THE SEVERAL CONTRACTORS FOR THE <br />CONSTRUCTION AND PURCHASE OF A SEWAGE <br />TREATMENT PLANT, LIFT STATIONS, INTER- <br />CEPTING SEWERS, AND RE- ENFORCED CONCRETE <br />CULVERT PIPE BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: <br />SECTION I. That certain contracts entered into on <br />the 25th day of March and the 23rd day of April, 1954, <br />between the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City <br />of South Bend, Indiana, and Sollitt Construction Company, <br />Inc., a Corporation, South Bend, Indiana; H. W. Hunter, <br />Plymouth, Indiana; Santucci Construction Company, Skokie, <br />Illinois; Paschen Contractors, Incorporated, Chicago, Illinois; <br />American Vitrified Products Company, South Bend, Indiana; <br />and Independent Concrete Culvert Pipe Corporation, Indianapolis, <br />Indiana, for the construction and purchase by the City of <br />South Bend of a sewage treatment plant, intercepting sewers, <br />sewer lift stations and re- enforced concrete culvert pipe are <br />hereby approved and confirmed as provided for in Chapter 61 <br />of the Acts of the Indiana General Assembly for the year <br />1932 (Special Session). <br />SECTION II.
