THE <br />- ?s <br />3; ! <br />N-t-" A,rd'00VED <br />WE94ED <br />PASSED <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING THE <br />SANITATION DEPARTMENT TO STREET <br />DEPARTMENT AND EMPLOYING THE CITY <br />ENGINEER IN A SUPERVISORY CAPACITY <br />FOR THE SEWAGE DISPOSAL PLANT AND <br />FIXING COMP NSATION. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the civil City of South Bend, Indiana: <br />SECTION I: In order to insure a high degree of efficiency, service and <br />supervision, the Sanitation Department of the City of South Bend is hereby <br />established as a division of.the Street Department,. <br />SECTION II: The City Engineer of the City of South Bend is hereby employ <br />in a supervisory capacity for the sewage disposal plant at an additional <br />compensation of One Thousand Dollars ($12000,00) per year. <br />SECTION III: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and <br />after its adoption and approval of the Mayor, <br />3--f <br />'ll <br />
