ORDINANCE NO. & <br />AN ORDINANCE RATIFYING A CONTRACT BETYPEEN THE CITY <br />OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA A AND THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />OF ST..JOSEPH COUNTY, INDIANA FOR THE PURCHASE BY THE <br />CITY OF CERTAIN REAL ESTATE. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the Civil City of South Bend, <br />Indiana: <br />SECTION I* That a certain contract entered into on the 30th day of <br />November, 1953 between the Board of Public Works and Safety of South Bend, <br />Indiana, and the Board of Commissioners of St. Joseph County, Indiana for <br />the purchase by the City of South Bend of.a tract of land and certain <br />rights of easement in the Northwest Quarter of Section 26, Township <br />No. 38 North, Range No. 2 East, for the use by said City as a site for <br />its proposed sewage treatment plant is hereby ratified and oonfirmed, <br />and the Board of Public Works and Safety of said City are hereby <br />authorized to accept deeds of conveyance and to pay for said lands <br />from the proceeds of bonds to be sold by the City for the construction <br />of its sewage disposal project, in accordance with the terms of said <br />contract* <br />SECTION II* This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and <br />after its adoption and approval by the Mayor* <br />Member of hs Comm Council <br />�M 2nd rV21% /07- (J--3 <br />EE OF THE WHOLE <br />NEARM <br />3.d iz�.ojwS <br />NOT AttROyfa <br />REFENNED <br />
