rn .tCe,an <br />ORNIX00 NO. 3 lr Oi <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF <br />LOT NUMBERED TWENTY -FIVE (25) AS SHOWN <br />ON THE RECORDED PLAT OF NORTH SHORE <br />TERRACE, AN ADDITION TO THE CITY OF SOUTH <br />BEND, ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, INDIANA, OWNED <br />BY THE MUNICIPAL CITY OF SOUTH BEND. <br />WHEREAS, the City of South Bend is the owner of Lot Numbered <br />Twenty -five (25) in North Shore Terrace, an Addition to the City of South <br />Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana, by virtue of a warranty deed dated Septem- <br />ber 19, 1941, in which Taylor and Johnson, Inc., is the grantor, and <br />WHEREAS, the above described real estate is conducive to no pub- <br />lic use by the municipal city of South Bend, Indiana, and in the best interest <br />of said City should be sold: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of <br />the City of South Bend, Indiana: <br />Section 1. That the Judge of the Circuit Court of St. Joseph County, <br />Indiana be requested to appoint three disinterested freeholders of the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana to appraise Lot Numbered Twenty -five (25) in North Shore <br />Terrace, an Addition to the City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana, <br />which real estate is now owned by the municipal City of South Bend. <br />Section 2. That the City of South Bend sell, assign, transfer, con- <br />vey and set over by proper instrument, in writing, to any purchaser thereof <br />the real estate hereinabove described for not less than the full appraised value <br />thereof, as reported by the appraisers appointed by the Judge of the Circuit <br />Court of St. Joseph County, Indiana; and the Mayor is hereby ordered, directed <br />and authorized to execute and deliver to such purchaser or purchasers thereof, <br />upon the payment of the appraised value thereof, a good and sufficient deed, and <br />this shall be sufficient authority to him in said premises. <br />Section 3.
