ORDINANCE NO* 2L k g AN ORDINANCE ORDERING AND PROVIDING FOR THE SALE OF CERTAIN REAL, ESTATE IN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, ST. JOSEPH* COUNTY INDIANA, WHICH SAID REAL ESTATE IS OWNED BY SAID CITY FOR USE OF ITS PARK DEPART- MENT WHERM, after due consideration and deliberation, it has been found by the Board of Park Commissioners of the City of South Bends Indiana, that the real estate as hereinafter described, by reason of its restricted area and unsuited topography has never been and is not now susceptible of development for park purposes, and NAI/ L F '58 Dnr 0; s!!,; {s L no WHEREAS, it has been found by paid Board of Park Commissioners that said real estate can be sold and disposed of to the advantage and best interests of the City of South Bend, Indiana and WHEREAS, said Board of Park Commissioners has prepared, delivered and submitted this ordinance to the Common Council of the City of South Bend, ordering and authorizing the sale of said real estate as by law provided, and NOW THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the :ity of South Bend, Indianat Section 1. That the City of South Bend, Indiana, sell and —nvey the following described real estate in South Bend, St. Joseph County, ladlana, to -wit: Beginning on the North line of the South half of the Northwest quarter of Section Twenty -five (25) Township Thirty -seven (37) North Range Two (2) East at a point Three Hundred Sixty -nine and Thirty Hundredths (369.30) feet West of the North- east corner of the South half of the Northwest quarter of said Section Twenty -five (25); thence West Three Hundred and Seventy -five (375) feet, thence South Six Hundred Seventy -four and Ninety- eight Hundredths (674.98) feet, more or less to a point Thirty (30) feet South of the North line of Walter Street, thence East Three Hundred and Seventy -five (375) feet to a point Three Hundred Sixty -five and Fifty Hundredths (365e50) feet West of the North and South center line of said. Section Twenty -five (25); thence North Six hundred Seventy -six and Two Tenths (676e2) feet more or less, to the place of beginning.
