HUFF <br />DIRECTOR OF PLANNING <br />The Honorable Common Council <br />City of South Bend <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Gentlemen: <br />December 7, 1957 <br />The attached ordinance originated by the City Planning Commission <br />to rezone property located on the south side of East Jefferson <br />Blvd., and immediately west of Lot I, Logan Heights Addition <br />(unrecorded) from "A" Residential to "C" Commercial and "A" Height <br />and Area District was legally advertised on 23 September 1957 and <br />given public hearing under date of 5 December 1957. The following <br />action was taken: <br />After due consideration the Commission found that adoption <br />of the ordinance would be a logical extension of Commercial <br />zoning and that the area across the street therefrom and <br />east thereof is now used and zoned commercially.
