ORDINANCE NO, 4 o1 4 �o AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND CERTAIN TERRI- TORY CONTIGUOUS THERETO �VAY 'F,59: 4 - F I L E D CITY OF SOUTH BEND FREDA G. NOBLE. CLERK Be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: Section 1 That the following described territory contiguous to the incorpo- rated City of South Bend, in St.loseph County, Indiana, to -wit: A tract of land lying in the Northeast quarter (1/4) of Section Thirty (30) Township Thirty -seven (37) North, Range Three (31 East, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the Southwest corner of the Northeast quarter (1/4) of said Section Thirty (30), thence East along the South line of the said Northeast quarter (1/4) a distance of Five Hundred Twenty -seven and Forty -nine Hundredths (527,49) feet, thence Northerly a distance of Six Hundred Fifty -eight (658) feet, thence Westerly a distance of Five Hundred Twenty -seven and Forty -three Hundredths (527.43) feet to a point on the West line of said quarter section, thence South along the West line of said quarter section a distance of Six Hundred Fifty -eight and Thirty -three Hun- dredths (658.33) feet to the place of beginning containing Seven and Ninety -seven Hundredths (7.97) acres. Subject to the legal highway, be and the same is hereby annexed to said City of South Bend. All of which said contiguous territory shall hereafter form a part of the said City of South Bend and be within its jurisdiction, and said territory is hereby consolidated with and made a part of the said City of South Bend. Section 2 This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its enactment, approval by the Mayor, and legal publication.
