HUFF <br />DIRECTOR OF PLANNING <br />The Honorable Common Council <br />City of South Bend <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Gentlemen: <br />May 11, 1959 <br />The attached petition of William P. and Daniel C. Kraft to rezone <br />land located on the north side of Ewing Avenue between Franklin <br />Street and William Street, as follows: Lots Numbered 302 (0 9 W. <br />Ewing Avenue) and 303 (415 W. Ewing Avenue) as shown on the Citizens <br />Home Corporation Re -Plat, an addition to the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana, from "B" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area District <br />to I'D" Light Industrial Use and "E" Height and Area District was <br />legally advertised on April 27, 1959 and given public hearing on <br />May 7, 1959. The following action was taken: <br />After due consideration the Commission found that: <br />I. The property to the south, to the east, and to the north <br />of subject property was zoned light industrial. <br />2. That proposed zoning would be a logical and warranted <br />extension of existing zoning. <br />It was therefore duly moved, seconded and unanimously <br />carried that the petition be recommended favorably to the <br />Common Council. <br />Very truly yours, <br />CITY PLANNING COAMAISSION <br />Robert L.
