ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 22 OF CHAPTER 2 OF GENERAL ORDINANCE NO. 3709, WHICH IS SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO. 4055 ADOPTED ON THE 26th DAY OF JULY, 1955 BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of theCity of South Bend, Indiana: SECTION I. That Section 22 of Chapter 2 of General Ordinance No. 3709, which is Section 1 of Ordinance No. 4055 adopted on the 26th day of July, 1955, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: The regular meetings of the common council shall be held at the council chamber on the second and fourth Monday evenings of each month at the hour of 8:00 P.M. , Central Standard Time during the period from 2:00 A. M. on the last Sunday in October to 2:00 A. M. on the last Sunday in April of each year and 7:00 P. M. during the period from 2.00 A.M. on the. last Sunday in April of each year to 2 :00 A. M. on the last Sunday in October of each year. At the hours named, the president shall call the common council to order, and if he be absent, the -ice- president shall act in his stead. If the latter be absent, any member of the common council may, upon motion, be called to the chair, and shall act as presiding officer only until the arrival of one entitled to preside. SECTION 11. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the Mayor and the ful- fillment of all statutory requirements relating thereto.
