ORDINANCE NO. 4139 <br />AN ORDINANCE MENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3208 AND ALL <br />PREVIOUS MENDMENTS THERETO, C01uONLY KNOWN AS THE <br />PLU ".QBING CODE FOR THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMON COUNCIL OF THE CIVIL CITY OF <br />SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: <br />SECTION 1 <br />That Ordinance No. 3208 and all previous amendments <br />thereto, commonly known as the Plumbing Code of the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana, be and the same is hereby amended by <br />transferring the power of enforcement for said Ordinance <br />from the Department of Public Health to the Building Depart- <br />ment of the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />SECTION 2 <br />Wherever in said Ordinance the Enforcing Officer is <br />referred to by name or implication, this Ordinance shall <br />hereby designate such Enforcing Officer to be the Building <br />Commissioner of the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />SECTION 3 <br />Wherever the Board of Appeals or Board of Health is <br />now referred to in Ordinance No. 3208, the same shall <br />hereafter be such body of people or such.individual as may <br />have similar authority for enforcement of'the Building Code <br />of the City of South Bend. <br />SECTION 4 <br />This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from <br />and after its enactment,, approval by the Miiayor and legal <br />publication. <br />Itt82nd READING <br />VA 8/5- 7 <br />COMMITTEE OF THE <br />WHOLE <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />3rd READING <br />` <br />MT MIRROVED <br />REMAED <br />rMfa i'x 81 �' <br />�.4�r of Common Council <br />FJAM t�- <br />FREDA G.
