T <br />ORDINANCE NO, <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FROM THE GENERAL <br />FUND $2,175. 00 TO POLICE DEPARTMENT ACCOUNT <br />P -331 - Gasoline, $2, 000. 00, AND TO OFFICE OF THE <br />CITY JUDGE ACCOUNT E- 216 -A, Transportation Allow- <br />ance - Bailiff, $50. 00, AND TO OFFICE OF CITY JUDGE <br />ACCOUNT E-2 16-B Transportation Allowance - Probation <br />Officer, $125. 00, ALL OF THE BUDGET FOR THE CIVIL <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA„ FOR 1956 AND DE- <br />CLARING AN EXTRAORDINARY EMERGENCY, <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the Civil City of South Bend, <br />Indiana: <br />SECTION I: The following sum of money is hereby appropriated from the <br />General Fund $2, 175. 00 to Police Department Account P -331 - Gasoline, <br />$2, 000. 00, and to Office of the City Judge Account E- 216 -A, Transportation <br />Allowance - Bailiff, $50. 00, and to Office of City Judge Account E -216 -B <br />Transportation Allowance - Probation Officer, $125. 00, all of the budget <br />for the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana, for 1956, and declaring an ex- <br />traordinary emergency. <br />SECTION II: The above funds are required for the proper "operation and <br />functioning of the aforementioned departments under the budget for the year <br />1956 and an extraordinary emergency is declared to exist concerning said <br />appropriations. <br />SECTION"III.
