ORDINANCE NO, i 140 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FROM THE GENERAL <br />FUND $2,500.00 TO OFFICE OF CONTROLLER B »59 <br />SOCIAL SECURITY, ALL OF THE BUDGET FOR THE <br />CIVIL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, FOR 1956 AND <br />DECLARING AN EXTRAORDINARY EMERGENCY, <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the Civil City of South Bend, <br />Indiana: <br />SECTION I: The following sum of money is hereby appropriated from the <br />General Fund $2,500. 00 to Office of Controller B-.59 Social Security, all of <br />the budget for the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana, for 1956, and declaring <br />an extraordinary emergency. <br />SECTION II: The above funds are required for the proper operation and <br />functioning of the aforementioned department under the budget for the year <br />1956 and an extraordinary emergency is declared to exist concerning said <br />appropriation. <br />SECTION Ili: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after <br />its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the Mayor and the fulfill- <br />ment of all statutory requirements relating to extraordinary emergency appro- <br />priations. <br />lot & 2nd READINg I <br />COMMITTEE OF THE WWLF I u I Jb <br />PUBLIQ REARMS <br />3rd REAUN40 / <br />NOT A -ftyfD <br />REFERRED <br />PASSES <br />Mepnber of the Common Council <br />T T <br />J <br />
