O� IAL DEPARTMENT <br />•-�-_, <br />AIi ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE INSPECTOR OF SUB - STANDARD BUILDINGS <br />AND DWELLINGS TO DEMOLISH AN UNSAFE BUILDING, AND APPROPRIATING $125.00 <br />FOR SAME., FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO B261 Contractual Service. <br />WHEREAS, the frame building partially destroyed by fire lo- <br />cated on the rear of Lot U of Wenger and Kreighbaum °s Vistula <br />Avenue Addition to the City of South Bend and-located in the rear <br />of 1237 South Maigii Street and facing Brook Street and being owned <br />by one Mr. Frank Urednick has been determine&':to be an unsafe <br />building as defined in Ordinance 43989, and, <br />WHEREAS, the Inspector of Sub- standard Buildings and Dwel- <br />lings has determined that such unsafe conditions do exist, and, <br />WHEREAS, said Inspector has ordered demolition of the sub- <br />ject building, and, <br />WHEREAS, said order has not been executed as specified, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COPAA;ON COUNCIL OF THE CIVIL <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, THAT: <br />SECTION I. The Inspector of Sub - standard Buildings and Dwellings <br />is hereby authorized to demolish the frame building partially de- <br />stroyed by fire and located on the rear of Lot U of Wenger and <br />Kreighbaum's Vistula Avenue Addition to the City of South Bend and <br />owned by one Mr, Frank Urednick, <br />SECTION II. There shall hereby be appropriated from the general <br />fund the sum of one hundred and twenty -five dollars ($125,00 ), <br />to pay for the cost of said demolition and the City Controller <br />is hereby authorized to pay such cost upon presentation of ac- <br />curate cost details by the Inspector of Sub - standard Buildings <br />and Dwellings, <br />SECTION III. That the cost of demolition shall be recovered from <br />the owner in such a manner as deemed appropriate by the Legal Be- <br />partment of the City of South Bend, Indiana, <br />SECTION IV.
