Buschbaum to zone recently annexed land being Lots Numbered 73, 74, 103, and 104, as shown on the recorded Plat of Myers and Funk's Third Plat of Chippewa Heights Addition to the City of South Bend, Indiana, said real estate being more commonly described as a parcel of land 100 feet by 328 feet between Michigan and Main Streets, and immediately south of Barbie Street (formerly known as Albert Street) in the south edge of the City limits of the City of South Bend, to "C" Commercial Use District and "A" Height and Area District was legally advertised under date of January 23, 1961 and given public hearing under date of February 2, 1961. The following action was taken: After due consideration the Commission found that the desired zoning for the property in question would be the best possible zoning for said land area in view of the following reasons: 1. The land area directly north of the property in question is zoned IICII Commercial Use and "A" Height and Area District, 2. The property in question lies between two designated major thoroughfares, providing adequate traffic circulation. 3. The land area east and south of the property in question is zoned by the County for com- mercial purposestand is completely in com- mercial use.
