'V` `k <br />AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE <br />ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY <br />TO THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND <br />(East of Ironwood Drive., North <br />of Edison Road.) <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SOUTH BEND$ INDIANA <br />Section 1 <br />That the following described territory in St. Joseph <br />County) State of Indiana$ be$ and the same is hereby annexed <br />to and shall constitute hereafter a part of the City of South <br />Bend$ Indiana$ to -wit: <br />A tract or parcel of land in the South One -half <br />of the Southwest Quarter of Section Thirty -two <br />(32)$ Township Thirty -eight (38) North$ Range <br />Three (3) East$ containing Thirty -six and Two <br />Hundred Seventy -three Thousandths (36.273) acres$ <br />more particularly described as follow <br />Beginning in the center line of Edison Road at a <br />point Eight Hundred Fifty -eight (858) feet East <br />of the Southwest corner of the Southwest Quarter <br />of Section Thirty -two (32) Township Thirty -eight <br />(38) North$ Range Three (3; East; thence North <br />Six Hundred Sixty and Fifty Hundredths (660.50) <br />feet parallel with the East line of Ironwood <br />Drive to the South line of a tract heretofore <br />conveyed to Clay Township School; thence East <br />One Hundred Eighty -nine (189) feet; thence North <br />Six Hundred Sixty -one and Three Hundredths (661.03) <br />feet to the center line of Rose Street; thence <br />East with the center line of said Rose Street a <br />distance of Nine Hundred Forty -one and Sixty -three <br />Hundredths (941.63) feet; thence South Three Hun- <br />dred Thirty (330) feet; thence East Two Hundred <br />Nine (209) feet$ more or less to the Northwest <br />corner of Lot Numbered Six (6; in Eastgate Estates <br />Addition in the City of South Bend as recorded in <br />Plat Book E at page 19 of the records of St.Joseph <br />County., Indiana; thence South Nine Hundred Ninety - <br />six (996) feet$ more or less$ to the center line <br />of Edison Road; thence West with the center line <br />of Edison Road a distance of One Thousand Three <br />Hundred Forty -one and Thirty -four Hundredths (1341.34) <br />feet$ more or less., to the place of beginning. <br />1'57 <br />
