NOBLE, CLERK <br />ORDINANCE NO. 4,5_ <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN <br />THE SOUTH BEND CITY WATER WORKS AND LAYNE <br />NORTHERN COMPANY, INCORPORATED FOR THE <br />CONSTRUCTION OF ONE WELL TO BE LOCATED AT <br />THE OLIVER STATION FOR THE SUM OF $46,960. 00. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: <br />SECTION I. That the contract entered into between the South Bend City Water <br />Works and Layne Northern Company, Incorporated, 401 South Delorenzi, <br />Mishawaka, Indiana, for the construction of one 38" well with a capacity of <br />3, 000, 000 gallons daily with electric motor, transformer and other electrical <br />appurtenances at the Oliver Station for the sum of $46, 960. 00 is hereby approved <br />and confirmed. <br />SECTION II.
