AN ORDINANCE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND/ /l <br />ORDINANCE NO. 0`L) <br />RATIFYING AND CONFIRMING A <br />WHEREAS, heretofore, to -wit, on the 23rd day of December, <br />1957, the City of South Bend, Indiana, acting by and through its <br />Board of Public Works and Safety,.entered into the following con- <br />tract with Northern Indiana Transit, Inc.: <br />C O N T R A C T <br />THIS CONTRACT, made and entered into this 23rd <br />day of December, 1957, by and between the CITY OF <br />SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, acting by and through its Board <br />of Public Works and Safety, hereinafter called the <br />First Party, and NORTHERN INDIANA TRANSIT, INC., a <br />corporation organized under the laws of the State of <br />Indiana, its successors and assigns, hereinafter tailed <br />the Second Party, <br />WITNESSETH: <br />The parties hereto agree that the certain con - <br />tract made between the parties and confirmed by Ordi- <br />nance of the Common Council of the City of South Bend, <br />on or about the 13th day of May, 1940 as amended by <br />supplemental contracts of February 13, 1945, July o, <br />1950, March 10, 1952, January 23, 1953 and February 13, <br />1956, shall be and is hereby amended in each of the <br />following respects: <br />All provisions in said contract, as amended, re- <br />garding the cash fare of 20Y, and the school fare of <br />101 cash for high school students and the 54 cash <br />fare for grade school students, now existing, are <br />amended as follows: <br />1, Cash Fare . . . . . . <br />2.
