ORDINANCE NO. 4dDl AN ORDIANCE AMENDING SECTION 6 OF SUB - PARAGRAPH (b) OF CHAPTER 26 OF GENERAL ORDINANCE NO. 3709 BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend: SECTION I. That Section 6 of subparagraph (b) of Chapter 26 of General Ordinance No. 3709 be and the same is hereby amended to'read as follows: A policy of insurance in the total amount of five thousand dollars for injury to or destruction of property as the result of any one accident, and a public liability policy covering accidental bodily injury, including death, to any member of the public in an amount of not less than twenty -five thousand dollars for the injury or death of any one person, and a minimum limit of not less than fifty thousand dollars for all public liability from any one accident, which policy of insurance shall insure such owner and his agents against liability for the payment of any final judgment, or in case of appeal within sixty days after the affirmation of such judgment, that may , be rendered against him for'- damages to the property or person of others or for damage for the wrongful death of others,t resulting from any accident or collision, for which such owner will be liable on account of any act of negligence in the operation of such taxicab, or which may arise or result from any violation of any of the provisions of this chapter or the laws of the state by him, his agents or servants. SECTION II.
